A 3,800 gallon salt water lagoon filled with coral and fish, right in the middle of the resort. There’s a viewing window off to one side in a little cave, complete with fish identification guide. Access to Rainbow Reef requires paying for a premium activity. Options include fish feeding, snorkeling, or taking a supplied-air-snorkeling (SAS) underwater tour or a beginners scuba lesson.
Makiki Joe’s is a beach-side kiosk where you can borrow beach toys, umbrellas, and boogie boards. It also rents out stand up paddle boards, snorkle sets, casabella, and rides on a sailing canoe.
