Join Uncle by the lovely ocean view fire pit for riveting storytelling in the late afternoon and evening.  Stories cover Hawai’i legends, old and new.  There seems to only be one “Uncle” now since COVID but he’s wonderful at his craft. The stories are typically under 15 minutes and well worth your time.  If you attend more than one session in a day, you will hear different stories.

To find out when the story telling is, check the Daily `Iwa.  Arrive a little early to get a good seat, although it’s a fairly intimate setting, so at worst you will be three rows back or need to stand.  While Moana used to stop by, the stories don’t seem to involve her anymore and we haven’t seen her drop by in quite some time, although you’ll still see her around the resort.
